The Spirit of Innovation

With breakthrough solutions packed into every inch, the Ed Table truly embodies the inventor’s spirit—providing the most complete maker experience available. Maximizing creative time while minimizing the amount of logistical preparation work and clean-up was the driving factor behind the design concept. For schools and teachers interested in project-based learning, the Ed Table is a natural extension and fundamental element for engaging learners.

The Ed Table was designed by Aaron Buehring of HMC Architects in a collaboration with Terry Davis, Nichol Lancaster, and Scott McHugh of CEF and Cristel Hutchinson and Dawn Reinard. The team worked together over the course of a year to design and create what we believe to be one of the most innovative and beautifully constructed maker tables. 100% manufactured in North Carolina, the heart of furniture country, ensures the highest of quality and care for all CEF products. We are excited to introduce the Ed table as the newest member of the Next Gen learning movement.
